The Department of Plastic Surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) host the launch meeting of the Beijing Key Laboratory for the Regulation and Innovative Translation of Skin and Soft Tissue Aging on September 15, 2026.

The meeting featured invited lectures by Professor Yuval Rinkevich and Professor Chu Wang. Professor Rinkevich will present recent advances in connective tissue development, regeneration, and repair.

Professor Rinkevich is internationally recognized investigators with extensive expertise in regenerative biology. His lectures provided complementary perspectives on fundamental mechanisms and translational strategies relevant to skin and soft tissue aging.

The meeting also facilitated interdisciplinary discussion on aging regulation, regenerative mechanisms, and translational innovation, providing a platform for scientific exchange and future collaboration.
