Professor Yuval Rinkevich has been honored with the prestigious "New Cornerstone Investigator" award

We are delighted to announce that Professor Yuval Rinkevich, Distinguished Investigator and Director of the Chinese Institute for Regenerative Biology and Medicine, and Chair Professor at Capital Medical University, has been selected as a New Cornerstone Investigator.

The New Cornerstone Investigator Program provides long-term and stable support to a select group of outstanding scientists in China, enabling them to pursue ambitious, curiosity-driven research and address fundamental scientific questions of profound importance to humanity.

Professor Rinkevich has devoted his research career to advancing our understanding of tissue regeneration, wound repair, fibrosis, and cell lineage biology. His work has generated important insights into the mechanisms governing skin and fascia repair, fibroblast heterogeneity, scar formation, and regenerative processes, contributing to the development of new concepts and potential therapeutic strategies in regenerative medicine.
